Closing the book
We're just about to close the book that is first semester--and I told my kids today that in just one more semester, they'll be seniors. Hard to believe, isn't it? As you've probably seen yourself,
students have been working on their marking period PBL fast and furious this past week or so, and we've just finished presentations. Your kids talked about the importance of being trustworthy, friendly, driven, confident, and the list went on. I'm wrapping up most of my grading Friday, so with only a few exceptions, semester grades should be finished sometime this weekend.
And now it's on to the second half of the year--another novel, research, a play, and, of course, the Michigan Merit Exam in February.
