We're back to our regular Friday schedule now that presentations and exams are over. Today kids will have Sustained Silent Reading (SSR) with their self-selected books. They'll also record for me their titles--books must be Young Adult or adult fiction and I am
not allowing books which have been made into a movie this time. This has proven to be a great way to end the week, and exam scores improved from mid-terms to finals, so perhaps the extra reading we've done this year in class has been helpful.
