Nip and a tuck

FINALLY! I know kids have been waiting for weeks for a snow day--how nice to have a three-day weekend. Of course that means we'll need to do a little rearranging, but with a nip here and a tuck there, we'll be right on track by the end of the week.

Today students got their first introduction to Ray Bradbury with an article about this fascinating man (link). Here's a link to the short video we'll watch tomorrow (link). Sadly, Mr. Bradbury died this past June at age 91--he was one of the most interesting elderly gentlemen I've ever known. Watch the video and I'm sure you'll agree. Students will also get their Fahrenheit 451 books today--pp. 3-68 are due next Monday.

[Remember, I have a new & improved Moodle course. The links will work, but prompt you to sign in. you can enter as a guest; the enrollment key is 'read' as before.]
