Building on our work last week, students will re-visit the essay they drafted in the lab last Thursday and use a Google presentation
(link) on Moodle to mark up their essay.My hope is that by giving them concrete things to look for in their writing, they will begin to think about making significant revisions to
all writing assignments--even those (*gasp*) not written for English class. Most students seem to feel that typing words into a document is 'writing', but the real work of writing comes
after that typing is done. Students won't need to share their essay with me until Friday, so you should see them working on revision and editing this week for homework.
We'll wrap up
Lord of the Flies tomorrow and the final test is Wednesday. Kids are counting down the days ...
