The final Lord of the Flies test was today and scores will be posted before we leave on break. We've worked on reading strategies and practice this fall and hope to see an improvement in reading scores for all kids. After the test today, students worked on their Article of the Week: "Can a jellyfish unlock the secret of immortality?" (link) Students need to finish their self-selected reading by the time they return from Winter Break--each day that week, there will be an assignment to complete for the book. Some students have read three books this semester; others haven't yet finished a book ... so read on to The End.
