I hope you all enjoy our Winder Break as much as I will-- I'll be spending a quiet a Christmas with family in town. Nothing fancy, but I'm sure I'll read a couple good books, bake some yummy cookies, and take a few naps. (I'm also my daughter and son-in-law's boarding kennel for their cats--so my "grandkitties" will join my own two dogs and two cats. Yikes--what happened to Peace on Earth?!)
Nothing would be more appropriate from a lover of literature than a poem. So here's the first stanza of Longfellow's "Christmas Bells". It's my Christmas wish for all:
I heard the bells on Christmas Day Their old, familiar carols play, And wild and sweet The words repeat Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
