A big thank you to all my hours yesterday, but especially my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd hours. I didn't realize it until I got to school in the morning, but I was quite sick. Kids worked on their assignment without any reminders, they helped answer the door, and were very flexible. I was able to make it to the afternoon when I went home. And while I'm not 100% today, I'm at least on two feet!
Today we watched Act II:ii of Raisin in the Sun--as well as read a couple of the paired-writing monologues students wrote yesterday. Tomorrow we will finish Act II; next week students will read Act III in small groups. Also remember that links to video clips of the play are available on our Moodle course.
