Act I of
Raisin in the Sun is completed--we watched Act I last week; students took a quiz today. (Grades will be posted soon.) I was able to find links to both scenes of Act I and will continue to look for Act II videos as well. You can find those links on our Moodle class. After the quiz today, students were to view a short video clip of Phylicia Rashaad talking about her role as Lena Younger
(link). I do love her insight. Students also had time to continue working on Act II vocab--this should be done after today.
Tomorrow we will watch Act II: i and work in small groups on discussing deeper ideas in the play.
