Show what you know

I quickly ran through some last minute MME reassurances with students today--I'm guessing there are plenty of butterflies this week. CPHS students have been given a great background for the MME and I encouraged them to relax and show what they know. While I introduced an assignment today, kids do not need to do this for homework. We'll be back in the computer lab on Friday and they can finish the checklist then.

Sadly, I am not proctoring the MME this year as I have a conference (more on that Wednesday!) on Thursday and Friday--room proctors need to be present each day of testing. I'll have a sub, Mary Vorel, on Friday; Ms. Vorel was a counseling intern at CPHS last year and is wonderful in the classroom--she'll keep the class moving right along.
