It's hard to believe that the year is half over. We're starting this semester fresh--blank slates for all!--and if kids stay on task and keep up with work, there's no reason everyone shouldn't receive credit. This week we'll spend a couple days on ACT practice. Once students do another practice write later in the month, they will have spent about 8-10 class hours practicing for the English and reading test, as well as the ACT writing.

If you are interested, the Guidance Office is also offering an ACT prep workshop on Feb. from . The cost is $45 and includes a test prep book. ACT also offers student practice on its website at <http://www.act.org>.
