Because of the snow day on Friday, I sent students an email message adjusting the due date of this marking period's PBL. Here is the text of that email:

- Due date for Photo Story/Movie Maker is now WED. 1/18--HOWEVER, because I have also been called jury duty for at least
Tuesday, I need your digital storyboard to have a voiceover so I can
grade them at night and on the weekend in the event that I am gone all
week.
- On Monday, you will hand in your team responsibility sheet
and I will provide your team with a rubric; you'll need to tell me at
that time where I will find your video--network folder, emailed to my school address, etc.
- Exam will take place as scheduled on Thursday and Friday.
To throw another wrench in the works, I have been called to jury duty. I am scheduled to report on Tuesday 1/17--that may be my first
and last day missed,
or I may be out additional days. This week I will have in-class assignments for students to complete on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday we begin our exam schedule.
