Students in ELA 11 should be working hard and burning the midnight oil getting their videos done for this marking period's PBL assessments which are due Monday. So that we could lighten their load a bit (and still make good use of our class time), Mrs. Steffes and I are having kids do an in-class activity based on the book they chose for independent reading several weeks ago. Students will have all hour Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to work on this activity (a collage/scrapbook page) and they need do no work on this outside of class. This will also put a few more points in the gradebook for those who are worried about how to improve their semester grade. I will provide some basic supplies; students may bring in whatever they'd like to use for their pages.
