Loose ends

We wrapped up a few loose ends today--I showed students some plain backgrounds on Flickr that are fair use and also directed them to the PBL rubric for this marking period. The rubric is quite similar to the first PBL, the addition being organization. Team videos are worth 75 points. Last week we did some "old-fashioned" worksheets to review the sentence patterns/comma application we've worked with this semester. Today we'll wrap up that review.

Wednesday through Friday of this week, students will work in class on an activity based on the independent book they read. There is no work for this outside of class--students will work on their Photo Story for homework through the weekend. It will be helpful if students could bring in any scrapbooking supplies they could use and/or share with others--I have only construction paper, which will work ... but isn't very glammed up.
