Presenting ....

One of the features of the new curriculum standards the state of Michigan has adopted is the idea of Project Based Learning. While we will still do some standard multiple choice testing, each 9 weeks students will work on a project that synthesizes the reading with our Big Idea. This unit the guiding idea is Stories Shape Our Lives. I have a lot of resources for students on my Moodle course and several days scheduled in the computer lab. However, most of the work will be done independently.  Students will write a This I Believe essay and create a Prezi or movie presentation that synthesizes class reading with the quality they write about in their This I Believe.
