Week's end

[Because I will be out of my classroom Friday at the KISD, I will not post tomorrow.]

ELA 11
Today and tomorrow students will continue to read and work on the character analysis in their Learning Logs. If the sub feels that students are wasting time, I left an "extra" assignment to keep them busy during the hour. I hope this doesn't happen. The week's reading assignment, Ch. 7-9, is due on Monday--we'll also do an in-class writing assessment over the novel.

AP Language
Students have endured the AP Language and Composition test (and some of them other AP tests, as well!) and are exhausted! The end of our year willl be very manageable. The next two days we'll wrap up Silas Marner--time for reading and working on their multi-genre project. I also moved the project due date back to Tuesday, May 24--that way we'll have two more days in the computer lab. The final Silas Marner test is still the same date, Wednesday, May 18.
