ELA 11
Students should be winding down with their short stories--overall, class has gotten quite quiet as students work to complete their short story study. I will collect Learning Logs on Monday after the quiz. Most students who turned in late work (Glog, synthesis essay, research paper) should see their grade(s) recorded. This time of year it is most important for juniors to stay on track.
AP Language
Tomorrow students should be through the first five chapters of Silas Marner. I spent a bit of time yesterday and today going through the first two chapters to focus their reading and get them started. I'll also go over Socratic Seminar (this Thursday) preparation tomorrow.
