Keep on truckin'

Another day of work time in class, and students are closing in on the end of the short story study. Check next week's grades to see if your student was on task and working with the material--they've had substantial class time to work on this. I will give both daily work points and an assessment grade--Monday is a writing quiz on the short stories.  I am now having students remain in their assigned seats. It seems whenever I allow them the freedom to move about they don't use time wisely and instead socialize.

AP Language
Students have a reading check over the first five chapters of Silas Marner. I also explained how they are to prepare for tomorrow's Socratic Seminar.
