The Thinker(s)!

We're starting to move much more quickly on our marking period PBL. This unit has differed a bit because so far the "work" students have done on their project is all thinking! Students have had four articles and two podcasts to get them thinking about the effects of technology in our lives. Today we brainstormed ideas, and

on Friday they'll need to give me their topic, and we'll group in teams. Monday and today we talked a little about the internet and how to determine the credibility of a site. Here's a site that some students evaluated on Monday (link). What do you think? Valid information or not? 

We are also doing some last minute ACT practice Thursday; on Friday I'll go over some things to remember for next week's testing window. Then, it's off to the ACT races :)
