Don't let up!

Part III--almost finished with Fahrenheit 451. We've started our several "time outs" for ACT this 'n that. Mondays was the ZAPS workshop, and I was so pleased that over 100 juniors attended. Next week juniors will be "pre-gridding" for the ACT; we'll have two days of bubbling in names, addresses, numbers galore, college and career choices. Then we'll have a two-week "pre-ACT" window when students will begin their marking period project in earnest.

If you don't check our Moodle course, you'll find it a great resource. The URL is moodle.kentisd.org and you'll need to search Comstock Park courses for English 11 Larson. You may enter as a guest and the enrollment key is 'read'. Take a tour--right under my photo you'll find a little green book icon titled A Few Reminders that will give you some tips on how we navigate.

Be sure to keep checking your student's grades--I have several right now that are slipping. This is an important year--kids need to be continuing to practice (and improve!) those reading and writing skills.
