It's Friday!

Students chose a short story to read and study from a list I provided. Kids can use a literature book in the classroom (I can also sign out a few copies), but I have several of those stories posted for reading on our Moodle course. Some students, though, find it easier to read and listen, and so I also posted any mp3s of the stories I could find for listening. After reading students should plan their role in the discussion groups--this

goes in their Writer's Notebooks. They'll spend next Tuesday in small groups reviewing their stories. 

I've asked students to fill out a Technology Survey form--maybe you could remind them?! They'll find the survey in their email inbox. Have a great weekend! (And thank goodness the heat has broken--my 2nd floor, 1-window classroom was unbearable!)
