Stay on track

Act I quiz was today--check the grades this evening or tomorrow morning. Students have a bit more to do independently for this unit, but they have plenty of time to work in class. Yesterday I collected Writer's Notebooks from my 2nd hour class students who were (on the whole) doing nothing, despite my suggestions that they work.
While some students were all caught up and have obviously been working, others should have been using the time--your student's grade should give you some feedback on what they've done in class. I'll grade my other hours' WNs today, so students in hours 3 & 5 will get some feedback, too. Please encourage them at home to stay on track!
