Research

Last week students began a short research review unit--the final outcome will be a researched argument based on the topic they studied for last marking period's PBL. Basically, the pre-writing and pre-thinking for the paper is already done. Now students will expand on their ideas, parenthetically cite their sources, and create a Works Cited page for their research. Many students, in fact, don't need to do any more research--especially if they put a lot of effort into their oral argument last marking period. You can find the specific research assignment here (link). Yesterday and today we've been in the computer lab reviewing and working on creating a correctly formatted Works Cited page.
