Open for business

Finally ... back to some serious ELA work. I had my doubts this morning that we'd have school, but since we're here now and it's blustery out, the students got some time to spend with their PBL teams thinking about the impact technology has on our lives. Students read a great article about a mom who had her young son sign a contract when she gave him an iPhone for Christmas (link) and worked in their teams to come up with a contract they think would help both teens and parents use technology wisely. Ask them about the article--and their contract.
