Back to business

Students should wrap up their blog design, post their This I Believe essay, and begin to record their podcast this week. We'll be in the computer lab on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. This is a great opportunity to get a lot done on their PBL, but you should also expect they will need to work at home. Students can also work this week after school in the Media Center or my room. All student computers have rights to use Audacity, and it is an easy (and free!) upload to your home computer. See this link for uploading (link).

Because I was gone last week Thursday and Friday, I am behind in grading. I will be pushing to get that done this week and will post grades as I finish. Expect to see grades entered for the This I Believe essay, short story assessment, and vocab quizzes. Whew! I am grateful I was able to celebrate my son's birthday with him and a group of his friends at a beautiful cottage on the Russian River in California, but I now have some serious catching up to do!
