What determines happiness?

Our first look at A Raisin in the Sun--we watched Act I:ii in class today. Students will be responsible for a lot more of the work independently this marking period; we'll have more traditional study questions and vocabulary for each Act. The calendar for planning can be found here (link).

We'll ask the question What determines happiness and our "lens" for the play will be Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs--a concept students will read about and work with tomorrow in class. Just a reminder that the researched essay is due Wed. 4/25.
