On our way
It doesn't take long to transition from the more independent work on PBL at the end of one marking period to the emphasis on reading and writing at the beginning of another. Students are working in their Writer's Notebooks again--they should already have 3 entries for the week, and we'll add another on Moodle Monday. I will try to check WNs early in the marking period to keep kids on track. Next week students will start our next novel, Fahrenheit 451. The short story this week begins to guide our thinking to the focus question for this marking period: Does technology help or hinder communication? PBL for this unit will be an oral argument.
