Prezi-nting connections

With a few clicks of the mouse, we began viewing students' presentations this morning--most so far have been Prezis, although I've played one Moviemaker and Photostory each. Students have made wonderful connections--some of them just astounding! Here are just a few of the connections kids made with our reading, their lives, and history: Don't take life for granted, Everyone deserves 2nd chances, Give 100%, Friends shelter us, and Music. I'm amazed at their deep thinking and creativity they've shown. We'll continue our viewing both Thursday and Friday.

Students' This I Believe essays are serving as our mid-term exam; keep your eyes on Powerschool where I'll post grades as soon as I'm finished with each class.
