Back in the computer lab for some more time spent creating student glogs! I was also able to get the computer lab for students again next week since we lost a day due to the ice day. Most students seem to feel quite comfortable navigating Glogster and I've seen some very creative glogs. A head's up that next week CPHS has mid-term exams. The exam in ELA 11 will be an objective test over all material we've had related to Fahrenheit 451: the novel, background notes, the article "Flights of Fancy". AP Language
The AP Language test is about six weeks away and we will end our classroom practice over the next week. Today students worked on a multiple choice passage in small groups and had to justify their answers--that's the hard part! Tomorrow we'll go over the answers to see how they did. Our mid-term exam will be an timed AP write. Homework for tonight: read "On Compassion" in 50 Essays.
