Weekly wrap up

ELA 11
Today I talked about the options students will have next year for English: ELA 12, AP Language and Composition, and AP Literature and Composition. I also put a plug in for my English elective, yearbook. If you have any questions about the classes, feel free to email or call. I encourage students who are capable to stretch themselves in their senior year--it should be a year to prepare for the rigors of university work, not an easy year.

Students also had a task list for revision on their desks. They were to exchange papers and mark up the essays accordingly. This draft will be turned in again on Thurs. 2/3 when the final copy is shared on Google docs.

AP Language
I also talked about English options for next year in this class. Then, students could look over their graded exam presentations and rhetorical analysis. They also were given the assignment to start marking Henry V for three motifs; these will also be transcribed to their Learning Logs.

Yearbook
Today in class our top priority (!) was planning our party for Monday.  We then shared the sidebar ideas for each grade section and also the Walsworth Element numbers teams were planning to use.
