Monday, Monday

ELA 11
Students had opportunity to read and print an article(s) from databases today in preparation for their research. (See Friday's post for database sources.) Most printed at least one article for closer reading later. Last week I pulled a cart of books for students to use in their research--reading starts tomorrow!

AP Language
Today students began a two-day process in which they will calculate an estimated AP Language and Composition score. They took an almost full multiple choice test (less 10 questions). Tomorrow we will use College Board's multipliers to determine a rough idea of each student's score. And, of course, work continues on the research project for exam week.

Yearbook
Some staffers went out on some last-minute interviews to improve their spreads. Any student who turned in their second story now has them returned with suggestions for revision. It's important for students to remember they should be revising with their style manual and class notes so that they follow yearbook style accurately.
