Thursday

ELA 11
Today 1st and 2nd hour worked in the computer lab--unfortunately, many played video games and did not turn in a typed draft of the persuasive essay. (Those grades were entered on Skyward if you wonder what your student did in class today.) Because of this, next week we will take only one day in the lab to work on the polished essay.

AP Language
Students worked very well on the study guide for Thoreau's "Where I lived" essay--we will go over these in class tomorrow. The kids are showing such growth in their commitment to stay on task and work seriously with the texts. We'll also do a little bit of review for Monday's test.

Yearbook
Tomorrow we celebrate! Students may bring in snacks to share with the class; I will provide the beverages. Then, the class will look at their spreads projected on the data projector. The first spreads are always the most exciting--maybe your student will show you their pages?
