I collected research papers today! Based on last marking period's PBL, the research paper covers some area of technology that your student wanted to explore: social networking, privacy, fair use, educational technology, etc. I marked the assignment 'collected' (green check) in Powerschool for any student who turned an essay in; those who failed to do so were marked with a '0'. Of course, late work is accepted (see my policy
here), but, as always, those papers go to the bottom of the pile and are graded after all the others.

We'll continue on with
A Raisin in the Sun today: Act II: i; students should have completed 2 personal responses in their Writer's Notebooks by Monday. Tomorrow is SSR, so students should bring their self-selected reading books with them. That book is due to be finished by May 16.
