I'm so sorry I missed my Wednesday post! The week got away from me and I had yet another meeting on Thursday. We've had a busy week in class, however. Tuesday was spent looking at several significant passages in Fahrenheit, as well as working with our new sentence pattern for Language (aka, grammar!). On Wednesday, I talked to students about an elective I teach, yearbook--I'm hoping to see some of my juniors again as a yearbook staffer. Yearbook is a great way to get involved in the life of CPHS in a special way. I also introduced this marking period's PBL, and students submitted team names for our next PBL and I'll finalize those teams this weekend. Yesterday Mrs. McCambridge and Mrs. Bolthouse, our fantastic counselors, helped kids schedule for their senior year classes--can you believe it?! SENIORS! And finally, today students quizzed over Part II of the novel and then had time to read their self-selected books.
