Back on track

Who knew the heavy snow from Thursday and Friday would be gone so quickly--and in such a slushy mess? But in ELA 11 we're back on track and in the computer lab for Moodle Monday! Today I gave students a couple options, depending on how they scored on their Fahrenheit 451 quiz over Part I (link). If students scored low, it only makes sense that they go back and review the reading; study questions are due Wed. (If your student earned a C or above on the quiz, you'll notice the SQs are in as 'excused' in Powerschool.) Students will also complete a "thinking quiz" based on their reading and these images (link). Ask your student about the significance of these names.

Part II quiz is coming up on Friday 2/15--you might want to check in with your junior to see if they're reading. We'll be discussing the novel more this week, but there is no substitute for careful reading.
