We're on day 2 of PBL presentations and should be done today. I've seen some great character campaigns, and some that don't have quite so much time and care put into them. Grades will be entered later this week--remember that students had several class days to work on this in the computer lab and in the classroom and that we went over rubrics and expectations together more than once. Many of my juniors are not using class time wisely and, unfortunately, this may be reflected in their grade.
Tomorrow we start end-of-semester exams and our exam is once again a reading skills test. Students will have 3 ACT-like passages to read and 30 questions to answer about that reading. The first couple days next week we'll do a little more ACT practice--the MME date is fast approaching!
[I apologize for not blogging the past several days--I was out with the flu. I have two words for everyone: flu shot! I didn't get it and I won't make that mistake again. Stay healthy!]
