If you want a bit of pep to your step, this always makes me smile--crazy as that sounds! Of course, I may have just plagued you with an earworm, too. Today we did a little bit of wrap up and review on some of the sentence patterns we've worked with this semester. ELA teachers at the high school have incorporated a new method of teaching grammar this year--but I think before the MME it might be a good idea to do some more traditional review as well. I also did a little read-aloud from The Glass Castle.
Students should be working on their scripts and Photo Story presentations this weekend--due January 16.
