Team building today! Students were given their teams for this marking period's PBL (Project Based Learning) assessment. Today's task: figure out how you'll survive on a tropical island with little more than the clothes on your back and a few odd items. After completing the activity, kids got their AOW for this week--as great article asking whether or not we are smarter today than in previous generations.

I did suggest team members exchange contact information, either phone numbers and/or Facebook so they can text and chat when it gets to be crunch time for the project. While this PBL is a team effort, project components will be divided among the team so each member can be held accountable for their own contribution.
