Kids were back in their teams today to do some close reading of Chapters 1-4 (or, hopefully, Ch. 5). Today they listed initial physical and personality traits of the four main characters--and also began to look for ways the boys began to change, starting in Chapter 4. We've started a list on the front board of character traits that lead to chaos on the island--and perhaps even our world today. The PBL assessment for this marking period is titled
From order to chaos so students are already doing some pre-writing/reading for their project.
