ELA 11
My first and second hour juniors took their exam today--an objective test over the novel Fahrenheit 451. My sixth hour was in the computer lab finishing their projects. At the end of all hours I asked students to check to see if I got their synthesis essay (I have a number of 0's). On a side note, I got a fantastic sub report for my 6th hour yesterday--they worked diligently on their exam review and apparently asked if they could get extra credit. The sub left me their review questions and made no promises ... but the first thing I did this morning was enter 20 extra credit points for those who turned their work in. NICE JOB!

AP Language
Thursday is our exam day, so today we wrapped up some loose ends. We looked at yesterday's group work, reviewed the essay assigned yesterday for homework, and took a reading check over that homework. Tomorrow's exam will be an AP prompt with timed essay.
