ELA 11
Today we took a vocab quiz which we will correct later this week when my voice returns! Students are also beginning some background reading to help them decide which topic they will research: the Cold War, McCarthyism, or the space race. We used the Cold War article today to practice timed reading for the ACT; then we moved on to guided annotation. Students had 15 minutes in class to begin the annotations and should finish for homework.
AP Language
Students read the essay "Ways We Lie" in 50 Essays, then worked on discussion questions. If these were not finished they are homework for tonight.
Yearbook
Today students got their Word copy back and got the page assignments for the spreads--Spread I deadline is tomorrow.
